The Cube
Right in the middle of the pandemic, I packed my tools and flew to Atlanta to work the Game Show capital. The new show had a 360 degree LED screen, live AR overlay, slow-motion and bullet time, and of course, Dwyane Wade.
I worked on TBS’ The Cube as a Camera & Game Technician, but it turned out to be a lot more. LEDs into props were programmed and installed, the original game system was reverse engineered, and the bullet time cameras were re-calibrated. A lot.
