Intel tasked us with creating a game-device using their brand-new Edison microcontroller. We did. This is our DEJA project, a ground-up prototype puzzle box that plays through the main story, and develops over time based on the user’s decisions. We designed everything from scratch– the internal circuit boards, custom firmware, and enclosure.
I was in charge of the maker/ prototype enclosure, made in less than a week. All the parts were either 3d printed or laser cut, tapped, then screwed together. We had to make 5 fully functional prototypes.
